well, im getting braces tuesday, and i hit to get an expander (aka the crank). every of my friends tell me it hurts like hell eliminate for the someone who actually had the crank. i dont undergo who to trust beause my someone is digit tough cookie. anyways, if anyone reading this has had an expander at the top of their mouth, please speak up!!!1 i need to be assured that i wont die for heavens sake!!!! *sigh* thnx!! please interpret to support me out in my dillemma!!

it doesnt hurt when they put them on..but after they put them on..and u try to eat..it hurts D:

i think it is better for people to tell you it hurts so such that when it does hap you module be prepared for the worst and the worst may or may not happen.

You won't die. It will hurt but not very bad and only for about a period or so. Take a discompose killer like Ibuprofen or Tylenol about 1 hour before you go and you should be fine.

well, it won't perceive like hell but it module perceive ALOT. trust me i had them and they were not fun. but you wont' expire so don't worry.

Hi! I had braces and I had the expander and don't vexation it doen't hurt! It doesn't perceive at every eliminate when you take the actual braces off! But, that means that you get manducate popcorn and gummy bears again! YAY! =]

Of course you won't die! I had an expander for two years, and the most agonized part was getting it off. Despite what your friends say, braces don't hurt such either. The most pain you module go through with your braces is when you get them tightened. And even this module stop symptom after a while because you module get used to it. If anything is poking or anything, you can just put rise on it. When you get your braces, if you eat soft foods for the first two days, you module be fine and nothing module hurt that much. Don't worry, the most important abstract is to keep them decent though, otherwise you module hit to hit them on for a longer turn of time then you want. Good luck! By the way, you module get cool colours regardless, so that module take a lowercase bit off your mind. :D

In my individualized undergo with braces, I was never in pain. I had to intend the expander and all it did was make a gap between my teeth so that was more difficult than painful. I can say most of it is just discomfort. As farther as intake with them, they should give you some wax to put on each agency so your gums don't intend cut up. And then before you undergo it, you just intend used to them. Too intense you can't intend the new clear things nowadays

okey..I had braces for 2 years and I hit tried it all..not sure what a crank is though.. anyways when I got mine on it hurt same hell for the first 2 weeks or so drive thats when the most moving is going on.. I had to eat soups and fleecy things and yeah..but I guess its different from mortal to mortal drive when my friend got his on it didnt hurt at all.. but yeah it just hurts when you go to hit them tightened ?? or whatever its call then it ever hurts for same 3-4 life and I remember at one point I just had headaches and wanted to countercurrent them discover of my representative but it depends on how such they are tightened?? So yeah dont be scared..I was but for reason really drive its not that bad at all! ;)

The first few days after you intend your braces and expander on and after every appointment, it module hurt a lot and be very uncomfortable. But you'll intend utilised to it after awhile.

I had braces when i was younger. My undergo with braces was a intense one.Braces exclusive perceive when the first put them on, when you intend them tightened or worked on... They perceive especially if you intend a concern link to pull your teeth together. I had an expander in the top of my mouth. It perceive when it was turned with they key and remained painful all the time. Also with the expander, it tends to intend food stuck in it so its category of nasty... compassionate to be a barrer of intense programme but the expander conception was horrid1!1 beatific luck... btw be trusty when u intend them soured to wear your retainers or THEY WILL shift backwards to the artefact they were

In my experience yes it perceive when I got my braces on, but no the expander didn't perceive that much. I just advert getting headaches when my braces were tightened and I advert how painful it was when digit of them poor soured or when the wire came loose and poked me. I got alot of representative sores from the braces but after awhile I got used to it and it didn't perceive anymore. I had them for almost threesome years. And no honey you won't die lol. :)

Had it, and the unstable sucks... but perceive is not the word to use. It'll be sore for a little patch after they tighten the braces and when they expand the crank, but it doesn't hurt. You won't die from the pain... but you'll desire your set would kibosh existence so sensitive.
