So i had 8 teeth including my wisdom teeth distant on wednesday in order to get braces. My gums are still painful and hurt. I have a strike on my upper gum where one tooth was removed. Can i have a dry socket and not be in that much pain? I also tasted whatever murder earlier. I spit in the sink and it was bleeding a lowercase bit not bad though. Wait no straws? I started using straws the incoming day after surgery because i intellection it was normal

bleeding after some extraction up to 5 days after is totally normal. As long as it isn't extremely Stygian murder and it isn't onerous bleeding. If it was a dry socket you would know it. It stinks, it feels like you have ball in the socket and it aches badly. Rinse with warm briny and take you discompose meds as needed. No respiration and follow with soft foods. No straws! The sucking state of using a straw will vantage the murder clot out. You should be fine. Any concerns ask your dentist at your place op appt. Best of luck!
