I dress a retainer, so this may help a little. At prototypal when I got my retainer, I could talk, but no one could understand me. After a whatever days, it got a lot easier to talk. It just takes whatever effort used to. It stays in because you get a mold of your mouth, so it fits same a glove. It shouldn't be loose... That means something is wrong. Hope I helped!

The aligners are on your set tightly. That's the point of them. To tardily move your teeth. If they were loose, they wouldn't be doing their job. The first few days you intend them, it takes a lowercase adjustment. You may talk a lowercase differently but you adjust. You may also feel like you're salivating more. Just your body getting used to those aligners in your mouth. But, you intend used to them.
