Okay, so I am getting my stitches taken out tomorrow (they aren't the dissolving kind). I was wondering. Right now I have a hornlike time opening my representative very wide (so I'm still eating fleecy foods, and cut up things that are easy to chew) and I was wondering if this is my jaw, or if this has anything to do with the stitches. Will it be easier to open my representative wider when I get my stitches removed? Will I finally be healthy to eat a hamburger again?!?!

Once the stitches are removed the healing will speed up a taste but you will not have instant improvement. It is still going to take a few more days for the swelling to go down completely so that you will be able to open wide. Good luck.
