I just got them about 2 hours ago. The wires aren't sticking me or anything, it's just that they're tight. I've already had braces on crowning and it was feeling ok within about 3-4 days. Now I have crowning and lowermost so my estimate is 4-6 days?

Take advil and verify naps. Did that for me and it helped. I had the pallet expander or whatever AND braces, so..... that was a killer! Noodles and mashed potatoes and very soft food is your best friend for the month. After 3-5 days you'll see it worse. Just avoid ice. I never broke mine, but never know!

You're going to feel a aggregation of pressure on your set for a hebdomad or so. Try taking whatever ibuprofen. It's an anti-inflamatory and will keep your gums from swelling up and causing pain. Also try eating whatever ice chips. If you are having discompose on your lips or inside of your cheeks, try getting whatever wax to cover the sharp parts of your braces. Good luck!
