Its thin to get a dry socket with upper teeth, however it is more likely if you don't study your post-op directions like using straws and smoking.
My duty suggests 48-72 hours (two to three days). I know that's really difficult, but please do the best you can. Not only is the suction from respiration likely to cause a dry socket, but also respiration inhibits the flow of murder to the paper in your representative which crapper make it harder to form/keep a clod and for your representative to heal.
Best of luck, and I do wish that one day you're able to quit - for you not because everyone says so.
