I ever seem to have a problem from some neglectful impact a dentist did on a root canal. The crown pops off, it's been infected, I've had it retreated, and repulped twice now. If I get it done again is there like a warranty that dentists provide with their work? Like an automechanic gives on their work? Shouldn't there be some sort of warranty so it protects the patient?

No!!! There is NO warranty or guarantee that what they do is feat to work for you. The prizewinning thing to do is ready on feat there once a hebdomad if requirement be until the problem is resolved. Once you wait a month or longer to complain about something, it makes it hornlike to pin point if it was something the Dentist did or something you did. Keep a journal of what happens to you and how you feel. There are patients that have to do this to intend their problems resolved. Just don't ready switching from one doctor to the next.

I don't know most root canals, but my dentist gives a 5 yr warranty on all his crowns. I was astonied when his dental assistant told me this as I had never heard of anything same this before. Why not ask the dentist what category of warranty he gives on his work?
