Hi, i had my prototypal consultation with my orthodontist a couple of days past and i have to go back on the 15th of Oct to intend my expander and on the 19th of Oct i module be getting my braces. On my Consultation why didn't my orthodontist mold my set or they did was took pictures, check up my set and xray.

well first, you're getting your braces in actual quick! i got my first consultation last february and I got my expanders fit in in april and my braces in november last year. but every orthodontics is different. I had moulds and xrays on my first visit, but my friend didn't. it's how the dentist works, and his techniques haw difer. be patient. he'll eventually take the samples, because you need moulds for the orientating of the braces and everything. and if you're still worried, just ask your 'dontics. he/she will be more than bright to help. hope that helped :) Good Luck :D

They will take a modeling and it tastes nasty so they will say go wash your representative out. So essentially you meet sit there and they meet pokeweed the modeling to feel if its hard yet. And when it is they ease it off your teeth. And then your done unless they do it the day you intend your braces on. Also before you intend your braces take advil cause they won't perceive when you intend them put on. But after most 2-3 hours afterwards they will hurt. Also make sure you hit soft foods in your house.
