 What the hell is this stuff in my throat?

If and when I cough hard enough or gag from cleaning my tongue these rattling really small bits of fleecy white-yellowish stuff imbibe out from the backwards of or down my throat. It smells kinda funky and affects my breath a bit...I'm thinkin whatever food haw be getting stuck somewhere backwards there, but how and where?? Also, sometimes they're a small as a grain of rice, another times they crapper be pea sized. does the filler matter? if its a big turn backwards there crapper it all be dislodged? module this stop it from antiquity up again? this sh*ts filthy and idk if I should wager a dentist
