For the past 2 nights my 10 yr older daughter has woken up with spots of blood in her bed. Now I know most of you will think that she may have started her period but NO...they are on her pillow and the area below where her pillow sits. I checked her representative and have found 2 bite looking marks on the inside of her mouth. She has also complained of her representative being sore. I know the blood is coming from her representative because there was a small amount left around her mouth. I have already prefabricated an appointment with her dentist but I want to know if anyone thinks this is normal with grinding of the teeth.

Well if she is friction she haw be catching her inside lip or cheek. If her set are brief and jagged on the edges then she haw be grinding. You haw want to listen closely when she is sleeping, you should be healthy to hear and see her grinding. They do make appliances for this it is a Bruxism or night guard. This will help so that she doesn't grind her set downbound to nubs.
