We hit nerves in our teeth for several reasons. For one, each tooth is alive, and therefore needs oxygen and nutrients brought to it finished the bloodstream, so each tooth has at small digit cheek running up into it to take it. Also, the presence of pain helps to signal you when something is wrong, just same a stomach hurting tells you something is wrong there, a toothache tells us we hit an infection or decay or another issue that needs to be taken of before our whole utter becomes diseased. Toothaches are not fun, but they hit pain alerts and nerves for nourishment same the rest of the body.
