Having the actual spacers put in doesn't hurt, but after a couple hours you module begin to see a dulled hurting that module grow over the next few days. Have whatever discompose killers like tylenol or Empirin on hand and eat lots of algid food.

The spacers perceive for a while. You'll have to eat cold, soft foods for a week or two after you get your braces on.

Yes, the spacers hurt. My advice: take some advil (or whatever pain person you use) an hour or so before your appointment, and then study every 4 hours or so. That way you hit a jump move on the pain, and trust me, it works. With the spacers, it was 2 1/2 life before I could eat anything other than Malt-O-Meal without crying. (Yikes, probably shouldn't hit told you that, huh?) After that (the spacers) though, everything else is WAY better. Trust me, as presently as you get finished with that, the worst really is behind you.
