I got braces same 4 weeks ago and 2 days ago my digit front agency feels really tight. And I'm really concerned drive it's a secured tooth. If i press my tongue against my gums on the back of my agency it feels tight. I hope i explained this clearly enough. Should i just tell me ortho for my incoming appointment? BTW i didn't get my braces tightened yet, i do in September. Thank you But how become it's only my digit agency and not the rest? And it's an annoying feeling. And it's just unearthly that it's only on my secured agency where i chipped my tooth. I guess I'll see if the feeling goes away in a few weeks.

Hello there, You see, I have braces too! And I know exactly how it feels. Well, it does feel dripless sometimes, and don't worry, it is perfectly normal. This is because the braces are same "forceful" to your teeth, and of course, when you press your tongue against your gums, it WILL feel tight. I do not think you should tell your orthodontist. This is totally common and you just have to get utilised to it :)

I had braces too, and they change normal after a week or two. They didn't really feel tight; they just made my teeth sore. If you have a concern on your teeth, thats probably why. If you don't though, you should probably verify your orthondontist. Good luck!
