I hit an abscess under my tooth. I started augmentin antibiotics yesterday at 11am. It ease hurts and I am ease on painkillers that are not helping much. When will the pain go away? It depends on what grade your abscess is. It depends on what identify of NSAIDS are you taking. It has to be prescribed by either a physician or a dentist otherwise you dont how severe it is and what capableness or what identify of Ibuprofen you need to take. Normally Tylenol 3 should work fine. I suggest you see a Dentist. If you hit no coverage got to a dental clinic so u crapper get a prescription. The best thing is to go straight to the dentist and get it fixed. If you hit discompose its considered an emmergency and he crapper not respond you by law..
