My agency sort seven which is one of my lateral set next to my digit front set has had a honor for five years now. I may soon need a root supply as my dentist said. Are the numbing shots behind the agency in the roof of my representative painful? Please permit me know. I am deathly afraid of dental shots. Also when I had my honor put on, I had digit shots in my gum but it didn't desensitize the cheek and I could still see the dentist filing my tooth. Is it possible that sometimes the dentist can't desensitize the cheek in the agency or are there another ways of reaching the nerve? It was bad sufficiency getting the crown, the root supply sounds worse. People also tell me the roof of the representative is real painful to get a shot. Would topical numbing cream support the effort not hurt? I am so scared? Thank you.

Roof of the mouth needles hurt like he$$ but it exclusive lasts for a few seconds. Root canals aren't intense if you go to a dentist that specializes in stem canals. An endodontist. I would avoid a stem canal from a regular dentist. They commonly charge close to what an endodontist charges and their results are commonly not nearby the results of a specialist. Also a doc knows exactly where to numb. No surmisal work there. They hit a technique (don't know if all do but mine did) where you don't even feel the needle sharp the gum. I've had multiple stem canals and never had a problem. Good Luck.

when i had my root canal the dentist gave me a shot and it meet change like a little pin prick and then it was all numb. the shoots commonly work really well and you dont feel anything!!! but if you do feel something you should tell your dentist right absent so he/she can fix it!!! i dont think you need to be worried about getting a root canal!!! it'll be over and done before you undergo it!!!!!
