My husband mitt the gauze in his mouth and smoked...he got dry sockets in all 4 sockets and was piteous for an additional 2 weeks. If your dentist says don't respiration for 3-4 days..then don't. They have seen sufficiency cases to undergo what is beatific for you.

You hit to hit the gauze in place if you are feat to smoke. Try to bounds your smoking as it may cause dry socket.

Cool, I got all my wisdom teeth pulled out this passed Tuesday too! I don't smoke, but I would apprize you don't smoke either for a week. It will cause dry socket no matter what. To be open I don't really thing it's a bounteous deal to hit a dry socket (I don't hit one), but it would just take individual to heal. Just wait a week or go visit your surgeon or dentist. I hit too. Good Luck.

I definitely would NOT apprize smoking. I am not a smoker, so I can't relate to the addiction, but I can't begin to fathom that you are willing to sacrifice possibly getting parched sockets so you can have a few drags. If you get parched sockets, you module feel EXTREME discomfort, and it module verify longer for your mouth to heal. If your addiction is that bad, try using the connector to hold you over... hey, maybe using the connector can help you quit smoking...
