iam getting my braces presently and my friends say it hurts when he tightens your braces...i hit a afew questions 1. what dose he do 2. will it hurt 3. will he put me 2 sleep

Braces are little metal brackets glued to your teeth with a metal accommodate connecting them. "Tightening" them meet involves him taking the accommodate out and making adjustments. the dentist just adjusts the accommodate passing thru the brackets. this does not perceive but puts some light pressure on the teeth. this pressure just stays for 3-4 days and goes away. no need to put you to sleep for this minor procedure.the dentist module alter the accommodate every 4-6 weeks.
