What are these called? I asked my orthodontist what they were supposed to to - & she said they were supposed to align the scheme of my teeth because they are "out of place". I heard that they are supposed to stay on the entire time you have braces. Plus, it's REALLY hurting right now! When will it stop?? :( It also hurt when they put them in. Is that supposed to happen? She like, shoved it up in my gum!

Yeah those things hurt like inferno to have place on but the pain should go away in a couple days in the mean time take tylenol or something. They are category of like anchors for the wire of your braces to keep it in place

They are titled bands. In my undergo with braces, I think they were the ordinal most painful part of the process, the prototypal being when they prototypal put my actual braces on. The pain should stop in about a week. Drinking cold water is adjuvant as is attractive OTC painkillers like Motrin or aspirin. Having nice set is definitely worth the trouble!

They're called brackets. They'll probably perceive for about 1-2 weeks, especially if your set are spaced tightly together. Yes, it'll perceive when they place them in, and whenever your dentist tightens your braces, expect them to perceive for about 2 days to a week.

Yeah, I hit these too. As farther as I remember, it did perceive when they were swing them in because same you, mine were shoved in. I hit eight of them. I had quaternary place on my teeth that are ordinal from the back when I got my braces place on, and most a year later I had them place on the teeth every the way in the back. The ordinal time was worse for me because I hit a small mouth so they kept having to shove their safekeeping in my mouth and stretch my lips as farther as they could go. And, that day, my wisdom teeth were bothering me (gums were rattling huffy in the back) and they couldn't intend the filler correct on the metal rings so they were shoving the rings in a some times (put in, measure, take out, place in, measure...) and I kept having to taste down (on the huffy parts of my gums) to intend them in every the way. I was literally on the bounds of tears because it perceive so bad. I've had braces for over two years now. Honestly, I've only had quaternary horrible, agonized appointments. I am getting my braces soured soon and I can't wait because this entire experience has been horrible. But, I undergo it'll every be worth it as soon as everything is soured of my teeth and I'll hit a perfect smile. I wish you the prizewinning of luck! Edit: Each time I hit a specially agonized appointment, the pain usually lasts most three or quaternary days. But, when I got my braces on, the pain didn't completely subside for most two weeks. It was a pair months though before I could taste into anything with my front teeth (like a sandwich or a piece of pizza), not so much that it was painful, but because it was extremely uncomfortable.
