While employed as a dental supporter you will be wearing what is call PPE Personal Protective Equipment meaning gloves, mask, and work coats or gowns every protecting you from the chemicals you clean with. As far as x-rays when you take them you are not in the shack with them. I hit been a dental supporter for the last eight and half years and i hit a 13month old that is meet fine.

I hit worked as a dental assistant for over 30 years and worked all through my pregnancy with my daughter. She turned out just fine. I was extra cautious with the chemicals(developer & fixer etc) and opening shack completely for x-rays, common sense stuff.
