I am about to get the preventive Mirena for contraception. I've looked it up over the internet and I've seen hundreds of women citing the Mirena in everything from hair loss to coefficient acquire and even breast cancer. Some of these anecdotes, especially the "migration" of the preventive outside of the womb seem very real (although rare). Should I believe the horror stories and avoid this IUD? What are your experiences with it? I get mine in under ten days.

How many of these communicative stories hit been authenticated? I mean weight gain, material expiration and boob cancer are common sufficiency that it's easy to suggest they had independent causes. I conceive the migration discourse could be answered with scientific research. It is quite possible that they were not established correctly, or that the women participating had something criminal with them. The person to ask is the doctor performing the procedure. And specifically ask him or her to tell you what statistics they hit of the particular IUD compared to other IUDs, and to other methods of contraception. Remember that pregnancy also has its risks: physical, emotional, economic and social.

Back in 2002 I had my 1st Mirena inserted and LOVED IT the only side effect I had was no period. Once it expired in 2007 I had a new digit inserted and had it fro 10 months until I decided to have it removed. In those 10 months I had back pain, cut nausea, foggy nous and gained 20 pounds with no diet or training modify and cut acne. I had it distant and the back discompose was relieved almost instantly by the time I got to my car I no longer had it. The acne unwooded up by the 2nd month of remotion and the sickness also obstructed that day I had it removed. It has been 4 months since I had it distant and have lost 10 pounds with again no diet or training change. I am in the impact of writing to Mirena to see if something was denaturized in it from 2002 to 2007

No, don't be horrified. All those symptoms appear to be allergenic or autoimmune in nature. If you start having any of them hit it removed, My guess is you will be fine if you hit no story of allergic reactions.
