Has anyone ever taken antidepressants for post partum depression?

 Has anyone ever taken antidepressants for post partum depression?

Did they work? I'm scared to hit another pregnancy because I get PPD so severe and it lasts for almost 2 years. I've never taken antidepressants for it however and wanted to undergo if they hit helped anyone. I hit digit living child and my another pregnancy after her ended in miscarriage. I'm thinking of ttc in a some months. Thanks Thanks Jedi Mom for sharing your experience!

Hon, yes I hit condemned paxil for PPD. I got place partum incurvation immediately after my c-section and I had it so intense that I couldn't be alone with my newborn without breaking down. I suffered for digit months trying to go it alone but finally I went to my doctor and got on paxil. It helped a full aggregation b/c I was able to fully enjoy my son after that. I hope you decide on whatever is correct for you. Good luck!
