how daylong does it take for stitches to dissolve? I had surgery on my right breast on Tuesday to remove cancerous lumps and there are clear stitches sticking out of the incision. They are irritating..how daylong module it take for them to go away?

Those stitches take anywhere from 1-2 weeks to dissolve completely. I know it itches and is uncomfortable. There isn't much you can do except try to distract yourself from tugging or scratching the area. Check with your student first but I think you can put medical tape over it if necessary. Hopefully your stitches module dissolve sooner kinda than later. Good luck.

girl.. don't get me started on dissoluble stitches..I had knee surgery back in July and my doc used those kinds of stitches. Most of mine was low my skin but after a month or so they started backing discover and making lowercase symptom get peeved on my scar. I had to pull discover 5 different stitches in different areas on my scar. It was hell. I'm so glad I eventually got all of them discover and I don't know if I would ever use them kind again. My advice to you is to keep a good eye in them and attain trusty you don't start getting flushed expanded bumps on your symptom because the stitches could cause abases low your skin which is a incident low the skin and could cause a really nasty incident at that. Use pure vitamin E and neosporin on your symptom and it should turn discover smooth and healthy looking. Good luck and I hope you don't go through what I did. My physical expert told me that it's not ordinary for people to have the problems same I did I was just digit of those people that had a problem with the stitches dissolving correct for whatever reason.
