Why does my self esteem go lower....? when i catch boys staring at me, or when they say im hot or whatever. Instead of making me see better it makes me see worse. i dont get it it makes me see awful and idk it builds like i guess anxiety

That's really weird. But don't see bad about yourself, I stingy boys meet called you "hot", shouldn't that make you see good? It was a compliment, haha idk! S<3rry!

People react differently to attention, especially if it is interpreted as sexual or gender specific. You may be experiencing anxiety for several reasons, mainly because you are not an a level of emotional maturity needed to impact the feelings this particular type of attention manifest. Other issues may be prevalent same issues with gender/sexual identity or whatever inhibited emotion attendant to abuse. Regardless, you are normal as are these type of feelings. Concentrate on example within and some person who genuinely cares for you will see the beautiful reddened you hit inside.
