My daughter was diagnosed with postpartum depression a assemblage ago. She never took her medicine. Now, she's feat through a split and safekeeping battle. For about a week or two, her symptoms hit escalated into what seems to be paranoid schizophrenia. She's suicidal, thinks everyone is out to intend her, everyone is making recreation of her, she quit her employ and moved 70 miles away to her mom's, she won't go to the dr. and won't center to reason. At first, she wavered in and out of sanity. But now, she has no moments of saneness whatsoever. She doesn't trust me, she thinks I'm one of those "people" and she doesn't hit a clue where her child is. (The daddy has her). I'm at my intelligence end. If I knew someone who she trusts, I could communicate them to go see her and try to intend her to go see a dr, but I don't know anyone. Is there anything I can do other than vexation and pray? Help, please. I requirement real-life success stories and tips on how to intend her the help she needs. Thanks for your answers and hit a great day.

Wow-- it sounds like a really arduous situation. I am not trusty if there is anything that you crapper really do at this point. Obviously she needs to be in therapy and on medication, but if she refuses, what crapper really be done.

Try talking to your doctor most this, tell them you are afraid for her safety and for those around her that she doesn't seem to put any trust in. Ask them what they crapper recommend or do with this. I would think that you could get her admitted even though she isn't living with you from the good of it , if you crapper prove she'd be an unsafe risk to herself and others. I would not want to leave it as is, that doesn't good a owlish idea. See if you crapper get her evaluated to verify if it's that or bipolar disorder. If she didn't take her medication I'd mention that to your doctor for sure and see what they say most this now. The best you crapper start with is to get the scrutiny instrument you are needing in this.

I think it's a possibibilty that she might not be suffering Postpartum depression, and it could be Postpartum psychosis. Postpartum psychosis is a separate noetic illness from Postpartum depression, and is a very assorted modify though ofttimes confused with or erroneously referred to as postpartum depression. It involves a complete break with reality, and the onset of psychotic symptoms that may include thought disturbances, delusions, hallucinations and/or disorganized speech or behavior. Postpartum psychosis is less ordinary than PPD. If she refuses to go for treatment then her condition won't improve. It's essential she gets help as it can't go away without medical attention. Things must be terrifying for her with her warped representation of reality, modify if there was someone she used to consortium that attribute probably won't be there anymore as she truly believes the conspiracies she's subconsciously conjured and thinks modify the grouping closest are against her. I'm not trusty if it's the aforementioned where you are, but in the UK if they're a danger to either themselves or another grouping they can be sectioned and treated in hospital under the noetic upbeat act. Good Luck
