No, I don't think it is not bad at all. It's your body to explore (although I should feature that some religions frown upon it). I believe its a good for girls to get to know how their body responds to certain things, because it leads to a more satisfying love chronicle later on. I suspect you module get your periods quite soon - the urge to stir is driven by your hormones. So its perfectly normal.

I'm cardinal as well, and hit been doing the aforementioned thing since I was little. I've had my period since I was ten, so I don't think it has anything to do with masturbation. Don't be ashamed, it's connatural and in some ways, healthy. Stress reliever. =) Don't worry.
