 Why does my ribcage stick out?

im a guy 6'1 170 lbs, im not fruitful im not skinny i go to the gym and workout a clean bit, i have strong pecs but it doesnt really show physically, i think this may be because my ribcage is big? I really dont have some idea. is a ribcage supposed to be completely insipid on your chest mine sort of comes to a sloping peak about an progress or so below my nipples. Is this normal or do i have a big ribcage, also some ideas on how i can amend pecs with this problem, or should i just keep employed at it, the results are coming, nous you its very slow.
