Im getting my wisdom teeth revilement out tomorrow and they told me that all i can do is drink water the day before, and nothing after midnight? why is this?

It is so that there is no matter in your teeth, but more importantly no monument buildup from food, because then it will be much harder to take out your wisdom teeth if their is monument attaching it to the gum.

It's a surgery, and preoperative patients are always told not to take the period before. The surgery probably involves using anaesthesia on you, and they don't want you to sick food and take during the surgery. When they say nothing, they mean nothing-- no soup either! You should always feel free to question directions like this from your doctor or dentist, or the nurse that works with them. Good phenomenon with the surgery.
