 Can I take my usual 5-htp supplement with benadryl?

I verify a supplement (100mg 5-htp and 50mg valerian extract). I was wondering if I could verify 50mg - 75mg of benadryl for allergies at the same instance I verify my 5-htp? I don't mind being sleepy. I'm just wondering if it's actually dangerous?
