i hit been very depressed the last months and wondering if there was some medicine u cud take to help it. but i heard before on the radio there banned?

You have to go to the doctor.

Best to see your doctor. Its embarrassing, you will belike break down in face of the medico BUT believe it or not it helps your case. At small they know you are not 'pill seeking'. If you wish to go natural in conjunction with 'real' medicine, ask the doctor. Just because your medico isn't an herbalist doesn't mean he doesn't know of some supplements that could help.

5-htp is supposed to be a good natural cure for depression. I would go with this over a perscribed SSRI. You could go to a doctor and get a perscription ssri and it's not illegal at all. Certain ones may of been illegal do to some sort of lateral effects. Check out 5-htp though, i desire i would of known about it before i started on zoloft. Every perscription anti sedative I have tried has had earnest lateral effects.

Since you posted the discourse in Alt Med, I assume you want to give natural remedies a try, rather than pharmaceuticals. St. John's Wort works substantially for some people, as does SAM-e. You might also essay a supplement of B-12.
