So I've read a lot most this therapy for mental illness...but has anyone tried it for other conditions....like fibromyalgia, RSD, habitual pain, etc? If so - what was the result? I surmisal my REAL question is: when someone suggests treating a non-mental health disorder with Alpha Stim - are they thinking it's more mental than physical?

I hit not tried the Alpha Stim CES device cod to its humourous price. However, I hit utilised very kindred devices. The prizewinning one is belike Dr. Bob Beck's Brain Tuner. (I'm not sure what the latest model number is.) I conceive I got the Alpha Stim electrode pads because they are the prizewinning I found on the market. By the way, I conceive Dr. Beck was a physicist not an M.D. I suffer from major depression and fatigue is a big symptom. I found the brain tuner to be relaxing, but not very effective over the long term. With regard to your REAL question, I conceive they are suggesting that anything that relaxes the mind will behave the body. It might be somewhat kindred to the idea that hypnosis can lessen chronic pain or FM. They are belike suggesting there is a mind-body connection to many illnesses but not necessarily that "It's more mental than physical." My individualized opinion is that if you extra money to spare, the Alpha-Stim can provide some temporary relief, but don't expect it to attain a very significant difference. Other people may hit different opinions. Email me if you hit a question.

Hi the answer to your question is no, they are not suggesting that it is more noetic than physical. Cranial electrotherapy stimulation can rebalance the electrical and chemical state within the full embody not meet the brain. But the theory behind using it with fibromyalgia, is that it is known that the pain is generated from a pain centre within the brain, not from an injury at the site of the pain, so treating the pain site is junked as the pain is actually coming from the brain. That does not mean that the pain is imaginary, it is rattling real! But for some think the pain centre in the mentality misfires and sends off pain messages randomly. So the role of the alphastim is to retune the mentality so that it doesn't do this. It has worked rattling effectively to do this for me. I hit researched a aggregation of these devices and I found alphastim to be the one with the most research to back up their claims.
