Yes. There is a difference between eating and snorting the pill. Both have different oral/nasal bioavailablity, Oral = around 11-52% of the drug actually getting enwrapped into the murder stream. Nasally, 60-77% is enwrapped into the murder steam, and is said to have a quicker onset. As for the feeling. Ritalin can have two different personalty on people. People who actually have ADD or ADHD , and they verify ritalin, it helps them to calm down, and stay focused on one thing. Taking ritalin , and not having ADD or ADHD, module make you hyper , overly aware, and feels same a dirty cut of amphetamines. Coming downbound soured the drug see pretty bad, Ive regularaly seen grouping who verify ritalin recreationally meet fall asleep and crash afterwards because they see so crappy. I've also witnessed many many grouping who abuse amphetamines without attention deficit problems, seem to move experiecing nonindulgent incurvation on the come down. Hope this helped , if you need anymore info see free to telecommunicate me. --As for dose, it depends on the person, bodyweight, and tolerance to drugs. I would move with anywhere from 5-15mg and work my way up slowly from there... Remember . You can ever verify a little , wait , and verify more. But you can't verify likewise such and go back.

I have never snorted, but I was given Concerta(a form of Ritalin) for ADD- It made me likewise hyper and almost had a stroke after using it for a week.. had to stop! Later I found out I did not have ADD. Just low blood sugar!

i think you aren't actually in summer school, but i'll answer it anyways. you shouldn't do drugs especially if they aren't prescribed to you. your being very stupid. you should go find a rehab place and intend the support you need. how about incoming time you just read a aggregation or something. you're going to die from these drugs. you're a bad person. you're going to intend caught and go to jail. how's that sound?

I have ADHD, or so I'm told. I took a few different kinds of Ritalin as a child, and literally don't remember much of my experience. I can't say if I repressed that part of my life or if the Ritalin had anything to do with it, but what I do remember about taking it was focus. Because of my metabolism, I had to have a higher dosage than what might be "normal" for kids with ADHD or ADD. The only issue I had with it was focusing on the right things. I've never tried snorting it, but many of my friends have tried it as well as Adderall, but I only know of one who actually has ADD that snorts it. To them, it's like drinking a lot of coffee. My doctor explained it to me that it works almost the same way as caffein, just faster. In short, it floods your brain with dopamine and norepinephrine. Dopamine affects cognition, voluntary movement, motivation and reward, sleep, mood, attention, and learning. Norepinephrine affects parts of the brain where attention and responding actions are controlled. Now that that is out of the way, the difference between snorting and swallowing. Basically, pills have a coating that allows the chemicals to be released slowly and evenly. When you crush it, obviously it's going to react immediately, especially since it's taking a shorter rout to our brain, instead of being absorbed through your stomach lining and the rest of your digestive tract, it's going though the soft tissue of your sinuses. You'll notice that you will smell something way before you'll feel it in your stomach. The chemicals are going straight into your smell receptors, and more or less being translated directly into commands for your brain to process. So, in explaining this, I've gathered that by taking it orally, you may (depending on your metabolism and if you're prescribed the medicine) have improved attention and reasoning ability over a span of about a few hours. By taking it by means of snorting it (again depending on your metabolism, but not necessarily if you're prescribed the medicine) you will see a more immediate (and possibly more erratic) form of about the same reaction. By mouth it's medicine, by nose it's speed.
