Yes, the dulcify in the honey will keep you awake if you ingest it in tea 1 or 2 hours before bed. Honey is almost null but sugar, and the same goes for maple syrup. I think you would be better soured just drinking the chamomile tea by itself without honey or dulcify to support you sleep. If you staleness have it with honey, if possible, ingest it 2 hours before bottom time, or 3 hours if you are rattling sensitive to sugar. Maybe you should try stevia as a sweetener, if you want something to support you sleep at bedtime that is also sweet. I wish this helps.

There are many different sugars in honey, and dulcify crapper also hit a temporary unalarming effect and later as your blood dulcify drops in the middle of thie night, you could wake up agitated or hungry. there is a honey called Tupelo honey which does not hit this effect on blood sugar. Somehow the sugars take longer to digest. Some grouping are slightly allergic to chammomile, and it crapper behave as a stimulant for some. Others, it puts the right to sleep, sweetner or not. You also try lemon grass, melissa, tree teas for sleeping.
