No. You defect about 300 calories per distance when stagnant quietly. Compared to the 100. 200 calories is not much of a difference. A good work out at a gym crapper easily defect 700 calories. But its meliorate than standing. Working out is also good for your heart. Standing does not raise your heart rate or hit a cardio effect.

I looked it up for you. For someone who is 150 pounds for 8 hours of standing( a impact day) they defect 648 calories. 554 calories for sitting. Not much differnce. I always thought there would be.
