You are getting disembarrass of vitamin and nutritional value of your vegetables. Try the ones that are unsalted.

Yes, but only slightly, they hit canned foods with inferior sodium in them already

I ever drain the water off any canned artefact that I use for the aforementioned reason. Of course, you can ever buy the sodium free or low sodium canned goods, but they cost a little more.

it might, but i think it would depend on what vegetable it is, it might also have absorbed the salt. so washing might not do anything.

It won't hurt. But it won't support every that much either. The sodium soaks into whatever of the vegys. But whatever of your less absorbant vegys can be meliorate strained, rinsed and cooked in stark water. Raw vegys are the best of course but they are so expensive...right?!

Rinsing your canned veggies will intend disembarrass of some of the salt, but the amount is pretty miniscule. Unfortunatly the briny soaks into the veggies. If you're worried about salt, switch to frozen veggies...you'll also intend more of the other nutrients that way. The canning process eliminates most of the nutrients in the veggies.

Yep. Sure can, remotion away. Just rinsing beans can revilement the salt by 1/3. You can also reduce the complex sugars in some preserved foods by rinsing.
