No. The accelerator is not utilised correct when you are working out. The accelerator is necessary so that the muscles can rebuild after they have been torn down by the exercise.

I’m not a dietitian, so take this with a grain of salt. I would guess you would want the cheerios in the morning and the apple with peanut butter shortly before your workout.

In general essay for a 50:30:20 calorie ratio at your meals. Your calories come from 50% carbs: 30% protein: 20% healthy fats. It is better to hit carbs before you workout. Carbs are the primary energy source your body uses when you move to workout. They get you going. After you work out eat a small snack with protein. A exemplary day for me would move with porridge for brekky followed by scrambled foodstuff made with 5 foodstuff whites and one yolk on 2 slices of wholemeal toast. Mid morning: one apple and 1 protein bar. Lunch: Tuna or chicken salad and 1 protein drink. Dinner: Hot meal of Beef steak or Chicken or dud or fish, steamed veg and Baked potatoe. This is a fairly high protein based diet, i drink at small 2/3 litres of liquid a day. I work out 3/4 nowadays apiece week at local gym doing both cardio and weights. Hope this helps :-)

I definitely propose switching the meals. Protein to fuel your workout would generally be the better idea.
