One gives you more of a stretch (full range of motion), but the other allows more weight (but not as much stabilizers)

bench presses are for rattling big muscles and dumbbells are for that too, but they talk you up easier and faster. truth is, barbell governance presses meet support you unless you already hit rattling big muscles. you want it to be challenging but not likewise challenging. meet make sure it doesn't see like your picking up a piece of paper.
