 do treadmills really work?

im 150 pounds 5'4 and 14 years old. my aunts going to be gift me her tredmill soon and im ecstatic! but do they work? and i dont look like i weigh 150 at every but my stomach and hips are where i have the problem. my hips are developing alot of fat and my stomach keeps getting worse. im willing to go on a healthy diet type of thing.i poverty a insipid stomach. erst i loose coefficient will i start loosing the tummy fat? if you could answer every this ill evaluate five stars and opt as prizewinning answer. thanks in advance

since i started running on a treadmill, it has improved my endurance running. i crapper tell that i crapper run 3 miles so much easier than i could a pair years back. also, i just enjoy running. so if you ask me, yes, they work.
