A spider is not an insect, thank you rattling much. It is also if the person is hypersensitised or not that counts whether or not the bite or sting is fatal. A inoffensive bee sting may cause an hypersensitised to go in anaphylactic shock (or something same that). Also, of course, it depends on the place where she is stung, in this housing the finger. Some of the more chanceful 'insects' in the states are indeed the Brown Recluse, the Tegenaria Agrestis (it is said, but we have them over here as substantially and they are not fatal), several species of scorpion as well. While they themselves may not be fatal, it depends as such on the person as on the animal.
