We used tweezers, needle, peroxide, but only got 3/4 of it out. We can't get the rest out. It is so tiny, and his little finger is so tiny... This happened Saturday night... so the remaining example has been in there since. It seems to be slightly red, but not too bad. I can't tell if he is "babying" it or not. How long do I let it go before attractive him to the doctors? Any other ways to get it out?

Make a paste with 1 cup Epsom salts to 1 cup liquid and apply it to his finger. That will draw discover the rest of the splinter. If you don't have any Epsom salts (you can get them at your topical pharmacy) you can essay soaking his digit in plain warm liquid to soften up the wound and maybe help the split work its way out. If the redness increases and/or pus or other drainage starts coming from his finger, verify him to the doctor.

Maybe you could use Elmer's glue. Put a blob, let it dry, and vantage it out with the splinter. If not, the be rattling very careful with hot cement (not sharp unless it's a big splinter).

What i did with mine was soaked her hand in warm water until pruned, then got the tweezers and needle and it was ALOT easier and came correct out. And i would wait dirt you meet can't get it discover some longer then go b/c you dont want the skin to grow around it and cause some discomfort~ Good Luck :D
