Couple of weeks? Doubtful stitches is an option now. Apply some vaseline or triple bactericide ointment to ready it supple. DO NOT clean it with peroxide, but kinda with mild soap and water. Be sure it doesn't crack when you are eating a big sandwich, and can do this by avoiding opening your mouth widely until it gets healed. It module ameliorate eventually, but if you verify good care of it, it module ameliorate sooner. When you drink fluids, might want to use a distribute until it is healed. Wash it with soap and liquid after meals. Allow it to form a scab.....(the prizewinning possible bandaide). And ready the rat supple with the ointment. That's about all you can do after 2 wks.....just protect that scab......good luck.
