I live in Central, IL, nearby the woods. My mom was travel through the woods yesterday and felt a pinch on her foot, like a thorn stuck her or she stepped on a branch. Today we realized that something bit her, mayhap a spider. The locate on her foot has a rash, large than the size of a quarter, it itches, and the center is starting to swell up some. Does anyone undergo what type of programme it might be?

illinois is a little far from BROWN RECLUSE territory so it's probably not a brown unsocial spider. they're in the south, in blistering climates. but so what? ALL spiders are poisonous. It's just that some of them can't puncture our skin, it's too tough for them. Like Daddy Long Legs. They can't intend through. Is she feat to wager a student or is this another notch in Michael Moore's belt?

Unfortunately, 'no one', not even doctors, crapper look at a bite, and verify 'what' did the biting. this could easily be a spider bite, and the good news, is that there was significant 'initial' pain. this would indicate this is not likely a poisonous bite. just keep the bite clean, and apply a topical antibiotic to support prevent infection. an aloe based cure or antihistamines will support the itch. Ice will support any swelling and inflammation. if symptoms worsen, or persist beyond 4 days, she should have a doctor examine it.

Unfortunately, 'no one', not even doctors, can look at a bite, and tell 'what' did the biting. this could easily be a spider bite, and the good news, is that there was significant 'initial' pain. this would indicate this is not likely a malicious bite. just keep the ache clean, and administer a topical bactericide to help prevent infection. an aloe supported cure or antihistamines will help the itch. Ice will help some swelling and inflammation. if symptoms worsen, or preserve beyond 4 days, she should have a student examine it.
