 I was wondering is Bedbug bites could be turned into a scab?

I use to hit bedbugs in my old house and whenever i damaged them ,even for same 2 days i wouldnt get a scab or the wound wouldnt peel. But with mosquito bites the wound woulld peel in about 5 min of itching. I was wondering can bedbugs bites be opened(like blood coming out) . Thanks!
