Anaphylactic = Protein based materials much as venom (bee, hornet, ant, etc), food, medication, etc
Anaphylactiod = Non-protein based materials much as dyes, artificail scents, detergents, medications, etc
It's also essential to tell healthcare providers about ALL of your allergies, even those that don't pertain to medications.
