I got a small wound (gouge) right beneath my lip a lowercase taste ago. I practical pressure to stop the bleeding, and practical anti-bacterial cream, and iced the area, due to the soreness. Is there anything added I can do tonight or in the next some days to help prevent scaring? Thank you.

Don't pick at it when it scabs over. continue what you are doing. keep it clean. It haw leave a small symptom that gets better or inferior visible over time, that's the uncolored sanative process.

You did all the correct things. Now you need to continue to keep it clean and not scratch at it, or peel it. The scab (if there is one) will fall off by itself.---- Most important you need to apply a pair of nowadays a day whatever kind of multi-antibiotic cream. I have institute Neosporum the best (I'm not trusty most the spelling--it's a diminutive albescent tube). They have ads showing pictures of how scars disappear faster than any other product; and I'm grounds that it's true. (If it is bad, you need to wager a doctor...if you need a fix or primary band ad to keep the digit lateral together).

Neosporin has had great success in aiding the healing process leaving little to no scar paper on the skin.
