After recently effort over a pretty severe fruit infection, my doctor suggested that I essay "Swim Ear" after I shower, swim, or wash my hair. It seems to work fine in drying all of the excess moisture that gets into my ear, but it causes a minor burning sensation. The astir ingredient is Isopropyl Alcohol. Is this burning normal? If not, what should I use instead? I've heard of using resistance alcohol, but that is also isopropyl alcohol.

Dear if your fruit infection is unwooded up,you don't need to keep dumping things in your ear, for showering just place some cotton balls in your ears ,put a little child oil on it, if you are swimming ingest fruit plugs. Also if you see water in there ingest a expiration dryer, on low environment of course.

Yes - beverage causes a executing sensation. When i was on a swim team we used resistance beverage and a medicine pipette - the same thing you are doing. Swim fruit has nothing special in it. I don't think there is some alternative modify of beverage that works better, but to reduce the executing sensation, some grouping intermixture albescent vinegar with the alcohol, or ingest albescent vinegar alone. The most important thing is to treat exclusive digit fruit at a time so you crapper tip your nous to the side and pull on your fruit lobe to attain the drops pipage back out.

I've had to deal with swimmer's ear with my boys and half acetum half alcohol from a dropper is just as good as the accumulation bought "swim ear". they never complained of burning from it though. The dr. told us not to put cotton balls in the ears.
