She is 10 months older and place whatever of the plant in her mouth and started choking I got it out and didnt think she swallowed some but was chewing on it when i pulled it out she threw up because of my hand and her throw up had a little blood in it but I think it was from the thorny edges on the plant. This was 2 days past and she was dustlike until now! She has a bad diaper eruption I dont undergo why I am guessing it might be passing through her because she never has this bad! Her skin on her face, arms, legs, and stomach or red and she screams if you touch her! What can I do?Do I need to take her to the e.r.? I called the modify control center correct when it happened and they said it may drive vomiting or eruption but what can I place on it to support solace it and does it good like she should be at the hospital? Please support and thanks

I agree with the first answerer. Your girl may be having a severe allergic reaction (anaphylaxis) that needs to be treated at a hospital. Furthermore, I advise you research toxic plants and either get rid of any toxic plants that you have, or put them *way* discover of the reach of your little one. It is instinct for babies to put things in their mouth, and you hit to prevent incidences same this digit in the future. I hope both your girl and you module be okay.

Transport to ER immediately! dynasty Aralia is a toxic being to adults, so it is rattling serious in your daughter's case. It crapper drive vomiting and symptom as substantially as dermatitis (rash). For a 10 period old, you cannot provide some OTC medications without consultation from a physician. It is a strange being to me, so I don't know of a limited antidote. The doctors will have to treat the symptoms as they come. In the meantime, do NOT induce vomiting. If she vomits naturally, that's ok. Good luck and I hope she does well!

I would take her to the ER to be safe, or call the pediatrician, or poison control again and vindicate what's happening.

I am not old with the plant you mentioned. I would follow the advice given by the poison curb edifice and/or your pediatrician on that matter. Based on the rash, it is doable that your daughter could be having an allergic reaction to the plant. Severe allergic reactions, known as anaphylaxis, crapper occur up to 72 hours after exposure (do to cascading degranulation of mast cells and systemic histamine release). Given the bodywide rash, a trip to the ER for evaluation would be in order. I would recommend even feat by ambulance as they circularize medications to reverse a nonindulgent allergic reaction if she should acutely deteriorate.

No concern what a child consumes, if it results in BLOOD IN HER VOMIT you are sorely mistaken to think this is not feat to hit an effect on her health. She needs to be evaluated by her doctor, she needs medication to control her reaction to this plant. Your poison control center should hit advised you to instrumentation correct away.
