If you got those blisters as a result of cross country running [ is logical, isn't it? :-)] then the best bet to preclude more blisters from forming in the forthcoming is to good and completely anele your feet with a good-quality cream before you start pulling your socks and shoes on. I am a veteran of the Hash House Harriers, cross country runners, and I have institute that this method has served me and fellow runners best. Good luck!
