 I hurt my thumb during football practice today. Is it broken?

During a training we played scrimmaged and My thumb got hit by the ball really hard. For an hour it change sore, but after it kept effort worse. It's been 3 hours since it happened. I want to see a student tomorrow if possible. Do you think it's sprained, broken, or what. Can you give me any tips to help it? Ok now it's starting to bruise crapper intend purple. It's kinda stiff and hurts to move.

it sounds like you jammed it still intend it checked out by the dr.

As long as you can physically move it, it's rattling implausible that it's broken. Getting hit with a ball is gonna cause pain, it's probably meet bruised. Alternate between ice and heat and rest it.
