 Is dried blood in toddler's ear serious?

I detected some dried blood in my toddlers ear. He is always scratching at it, and does have a small little scratch in there. However, yesterday he bumped his head on the sidewalk. He seems totally fine, but is it doable that dried blood could be from a head injury? I am waiting for the woman to call me back, but it's taking forever!!

My 2 year older woke up one night with dried blood in his ear, we took him into the doctor and they look and saw that he meet sratched the inside of his ear during the night. However I would have it looked at.

Well it could be meet from him scratching it.But why not make a Dr given and hit it looked at.It is better to be safe than sorry.
