I am a dancer and lately I have been experiencing intense pains in my calfs (back of my lower legs) It happens every instance I am in a crouching/kneeling posistion to when I stand up. The discompose is really intense and almost feels same cramp, but it only last for about five seconds. Could anyone provide me advice?? Thanks

Because the pain is in the backwards of the leg, do not believe ANYONE who calls this shin splints or even charlie horses. That aggregation is incorrect. This reaction to intense movement is common in dancers and athletes, and is caused by a metal demand - the body has a baritone metal level, and metal and sodium are the two chemicals that work to curb muscle function (contractions and releases). Because calf muscle is the one most worked in dance, this is the muscle you feel it in the most. To solve: definitely stretch before and after physical activity. But, as importantly, essay and enrich your metal diet. Eating fruits, particularly bananas and papayas, will help the most. You crapper also buy supplements if you prefer that route. For the pain, essay Nuprin or Aleve, and cover (or Mineral Ice / Icy Hot Reliever) Good Luck!
